Together with our partners M2C and TELMO a.s., we have completed the implementation of an advanced camera system in Ústí nad Labem that brings many benefits to the city.
A new analytical superstructure enables detection and evaluation of events recorded by camera systems. It uses video analytics software to identify the movement of people, vehicles and potentially dangerous situations. This software extends the functionality of the existing CCTV system, using specialised technology to detect and recognise objects and events based on video footage. Using algorithms and artificial intelligence, it supplies operators with vital information and issues alerts.
This technology has considerable potential for improving safety in public spaces, optimising transport infrastructure and preventing crime. It can detect suspicious activities, identify dangerous situations and improve traffic management in cities. This results in faster responses to incidents, increased security for residents and visitors, and minimised risk of traffic incidents.
This project is an important step towards smarter and safer urban infrastructure. We are proud to work with the city of Ústí nad Labem and believe that this technology will bring significant benefits to the city’s residents and visitors alike.
